Grangefield was delighted to win the prestigious Global Health & Pharma Magazine’s 2017 Social Care Award for Best Residential Care Home in Northamptonshire. The process started with Grangefield being independently nominated into a shortlist of Northamptonshire’s finest care homes. Following extensive research into the shortlisted homes, Grangefield was judged to be the best. This award represents an independent recognition of Grangefield and its achievements.
In 2012, Grangefield Care Home won the acclaimed Best Customer Service Award as part of the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards. Rigorously judged by the Chief Executive and Operations Director of the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce, the award was won by Grangefield due to its innovative approach to client management.
In 2011, Northamptonshire LINk carried out a study of the ‘Quality of Life’ of residents in care homes in Northamptonshire. 17 of the county’s best care homes were assessed, including Grangefield Care Home. Out of all the care homes assessed Grangefield came out on top with a maximum satisfaction score of 100%.
In 2006 and 2007, Grangefield was accredited with Northamptonshire County Council’s Four Roses Award. The “Rose” standard was operated by the council between 2002 and 2007 and was used to judge the quality of service provision by care homes. Four Roses was the highest level achievable.
Grangefield has scored 5 of out 5 in its latest Food Hygiene inspection, which is translated as an “Excellent” score. This inspection and rating system, enforced by the Food Standards Agency, reflects the standards of food hygiene at a business.
